U.S. Solheim Cup Captain Stacy Lewis now has three-quarters of her team finalized, with nine players securing their spots based on their performance throughout the season. Seven players qualified via the Solheim Cup points system, while two others earned their place through the Rolex Rankings.

European Solheim Cup Team: Eight Spots Secured

Across the Atlantic, European Captain Suzann Pettersen has seen eight players qualify automatically for her squad. With two players qualifying through points and six through the Rolex Rankings, the European team is also shaping up to be a formidable opponent.

The Battle Ahead: A Historic Solheim Cup

This year’s Solheim Cup is set to be a historic showdown, with Europe aiming to claim the cup for the fourth consecutive time after earning a tie last year in Spain, which allowed them to retain the trophy. The U.S. team, under the leadership of Stacy Lewis, will be determined to reclaim the title on home soil.

As both captains finalize their rosters in the coming days, the anticipation continues to build for what is sure to be a thrilling competition. With so much at stake and the world’s best players on both sides, the 2024 Solheim Cup promises to deliver unforgettable moments and fierce battles.
